The catering service at Bohunt School is provided by Harrison Catering Services. Since its founding in 1994, Harrison has always been about quality fresh food prepared on-site and served by people who love what they do. Over 100 clients across the UK enjoy a Harrison food service, with more than 100,000 meals being served each day by approximately 2,000 staff across more than 270 locations.
Harrison understands that what young people eat affects their health and their ability to learn and perform in the classroom. At Bohunt School, our catering team provides nutritious, balanced meals, and we work to educate the students on how to make healthier food choices. Our goal is to instil a love and understanding of fresh, healthy food at a young age that will positively influence them throughout life.
All Harrison staff receive training in how to prepare and serve healthier food through the company’s bespoke Eat Well Live Well© training programme.
Our catering team at Bohunt School works with the school council to tailor menus to the tastes and preferences of the students. We introduce further interest and excitement to our menus through themed lunches ranging from holidays like St George’s Day and Christmas to cuisines from around the world, tying these into the school curriculum whenever possible.
If you require further information or have any feedback about the catering service, please contact Valarie Cox by phone 01428 725902 or email vcox@Bohunt.Hants.sch.uk

Bohunt has installed a cashless catering system which went live on 1 September. The new system will allow us to continue with the development of the school meal service, and will provide us with a more efficient, faster and ultimately better quality of service.
If your child has not registered for the Biometric system he/she will be provided with a 4 digit PIN which will be sent out to you in the holiday ready for September. Your child will then be able to register for the system at the start of term. If you do not wish for your child to use this system they can continue to use the PIN when paying for their school meals.
You will be able to make online payments to the catering company via debit or credit card or by direct bank transfer and we are using Schoolcomms for this service. You will be able to make these online payments via the School Gateway smartphone app or website. You will be able to view school meal balances and top them up at anytime. The alternative to using the School Gateway is to top up with cash via the Biometric Revaluation Unit based in reception.
