Dear Parents and Carers
I am writing to you to make you aware of the support available for year 11 students in the Careers Department during this significant year.
Bohunt Sixth Form open evening was on 4 October and was an important opportunity for students to find out about A levels. Alongside advice and guidance provided by Bohunt Sixth Form, we offer a further range of services to the year 11 students.
We are continuing with 1-1/group career guidance appointments for all Year 11 students and these will be allocated automatically on a weekly basis. Students will see Theresa Petzold, who is an independent careers advisor, and meetings will be held in the Careers Office.
Appointments can be an opportunity to discuss further education, entry requirements for Bohunt Sixth Form, other local colleges, apprenticeships, university choice, personal statements, gap year choices, work experience placements, CVs, UCAS decisions or career opportunities.
There will be full support from the Careers Department (based in the Careers Office next to the Library) available before school, break, lunch or after school for any questions or to collect prospectuses etc.
I have included a timeline for year 11 ( below) for your perusal and am available on firstname.lastname@example.org should you require any more information.
