Our students are celebrating an outstanding set of results in their most recent LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) exams, with every candidate achieving a distinction.
LAMDA exams are widely recognised for developing key life skills, including public speaking, critical thinking, and self-expression. Pupils take part in structured assessments building both performance ability and personal confidence along the way. Participation in LAMDA often translates into improved classroom engagement and a greater willingness to contribute ideas.
This year’s 100% distinction rate reflects not only the dedication of the students but also the strength of Bohunt’s LAMDA programme. Excellent coaching from our LAMDA teachers Ms Clarke and Mrs Harper, together with regular performance opportunities at Bohunt’s LAMDA showcases have contributed to an environment in which pupils can thrive and achieve at a high level.
In addition to the personal development benefits, LAMDA qualifications can also contribute valuable UCAS points for students progressing to higher education. Exams at Grade 6 (Bronze Medal), Grade 7 (Silver Medal), and Grade 8 (Gold Medal) carry UCAS tariff points:
These latest set of results earned Bohunt students a total of 176 UCAS points and 12 medals.

“What a fantastic achievement for all of the students! This is the result of consistently dedicated work by the students. I am very happy to see their efforts rewarded. Also, may I extend my thanks to all the parents and guardians who support this programme, especially with learning lines and reading in parts. It is much appreciated.”
